Anthony Orosco and Ron Harris have been detailing high end luxury and exotic sport cars for over 20 years. They started their chosen craft in beautiful Southern California and now operate in the great land of Texas. Anthony and Ron are very serious about their work and consider it both an art and also a science. The science aspect comes from knowing what items they are working with such as paints, leathers, fabrics, etc. It also involves knowing what chemical does what and why.

In 2000 Ron underwent 5 weeks of training learning the art of  Paintless Dent Repair. Since then Ron has honed his skill to the point he is one of the top technician’s in San Antonio specializing in High End and Exotic cars.

To help Anthony and Ron in the area of science they work closely with Dr. David Ghodoussi. Dr Ghodoussi is an organic paint chemist with over 12 years experience in the field of paint manufacturing and also chemical manufacturing. He is the creator and CEO of Optimum Polymer Technologies. For the last 6 years they have worked with Dr. Ghodoussi in testing, developing and enhancing products used within the detailing industry worldwide.

Anthony Orosco and Ron Harris also view detailing as an art. They see their clients cars much like a blank canvas, their tools and products are their medium which they use to create something that they and their clients can be proud of. It then goes on display in front of hundreds of people everyday

Environmentally Aware

Concours Auto Salon is a leader within the auto detailing industry in these areas:

  • Reduced water use – In 1999, during  water restrictions in California, Anthony Orosco developed a waterless maintenance program for his clients. He would visit them 3 days a week and wipe their cars down with a quick detailer spray. Fast forward to 2005 Ron Harris and Anthony Orosco along with Scott Hair, a detailer in Dallas, Texas, helped develop and test a product created by Optimum Polymer Technologies designed to efficiently and safely clean cars with as little as 1 gallon of water. Optimum No Rinse was born through these efforts and is making a difference in how detailers around the world wash and maintain their clients cars.
  • Reduced chemical use – Through the use of steam vapor Concours Auto Salon uses 80% less chemicals to clean leather, vinyl, carpets, upholstery, glass, road tar and gum. Anthony Orosco was one of the first detailers to implement the use of steam vapor and is still discovering its seemingly unending uses. It is now used to remove window tint and adhesives thus reducing the use of solvents.
  • Research & Development – Ron Harris and Anthony Orosco work closely with Dr. David Ghodoussi, an organic paint chemist, founder and CEO of Optimum Polymer Technologies, testing and developing products that “do more with less”.
